Description
The 1914-S $5 Gold Indian is a highly collectible coin from the innovative Indian Head Half Eagle series (1908-1929) designed by Bela Lyon Pratt. Struck at the San Francisco Mint with the S mintmark, it features Pratt s distinctive incuse (sunken) design, where the Native American chief on the obverse and the eagle on the reverse are recessed into the coin s surface.
